Inspired by the glamour and romance of the movie, Casablanca, the success of this 48-room jewel exemplifies the traveling worlds new romance with boutique hotels. The Casablanca captures the heart of its guests by offering a serene pocket of tranquility and grace just steps away from the excitement capital of the world, Times Square. One of the highlights of the hotel is Ricks Cafe, where guests may relax and find entertainment and refreshment at any time of day. Each morning a lavish buffet Breakfast is provided with the hotel compliments, including boiled eggs, fresh fruits, a variety of juices, New York City bagels and cream cheese, muffins, pastries, croissants, cereals, yogurts and more. Throughout the day and night, guests enjoy international coffee and tea service including fresh fruit, cookies, candies, cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate and a variety of black and herbal teas. Each evening from Monday - Saturday, Ricks cafe offers a champagne, wine and cheese reception for all the guests to unwind after a busy day in the Big Apple. To help put the guests in the proper mood for the weekend, pianist, James Newman entertains every Friday evening from 5-8 pm with a repertoire of selections that conjure images of the classic movie, Casablanca. While relaxing in Ricks Cafe, our guests can choose to listen to music, watch tv or read complimentary newspapers or books. In each room, guests will find luxurious touches such as bottled spring water, fine linens, and plush terrycloth bath robes. All 48 newly renovated luxury rooms and suites are designed for comfort with meticulous attention to detail.
